First of all, Dena Shipley Photography is more than just a business to me, it is part of who I am.
My camera, it is an extension of my eyes and my heart.  It documents what is inside of me and
what I'm actually seeing through the viewfinder.  With that, a portion of me is in every single picture
that I take.

My husband Ken - he completes me, he encourages me to push more in my love for photography,
he is my best friend & he is also my 2nd shooter.  I can relate to what my brides and grooms feel,
because I feel the same and have experienced those same emotions in the moments I have from
my wedding day and in the everyday simple sweet life with him.

I'm lucky to be surrounded by people I love, and I really feel it manifests itself in my photos so that
when somebody looks at my photos they feel love, they feel happy, they feel joy, they feel the tears
and the bliss of that moment.

The connections that I make with people really are the defining factor of my business...that's the true
testament to what I do. When all the details of the celebration of your wedding day; the food, the
cake, the flowers, the venue are gone, all that is left that is tangible to remember your wedding are
your photographs...these are what are left to remember your day, the love, the joy, the bliss, the
tears, those simple little moments are all there, captured in your photographs...forever.
